Infiniti Announces Full Price Lineup for 2016 Q50

CARS.COM - Prices for the turbocharged V-6 versions of the 2016 Infiniti Q50 sedan range from $40,805 for the rear-drive Premium model to $46,805 for the all-wheel-drive Sport model, including the $905 destination charge. Infiniti announced prices for the Q50 3.0t models Tuesday, completing the staggered rollout of a revised lineup that includes three new engines.

Both the Premium and Sport models are available with rear- or all-wheel drive. The all-wheel-drive Premium model starts at $42,805, and the rear-drive Sport starts at $44,805, including destination.

The Q50 3.0t models are powered by a 300-horsepower, twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6. Prices were announced earlier in the spring for the Q50 2.0t models, which use a 208-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and the Red Sport 400, which has a 400-hp version of the twin-turbo V-6. The new engines replace a 3.7-liter V-6 that made 328 hp.

The Q50 lineup includes the Hybrid, which uses a carryover 302-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 and a 50-kilowatt motor powered by a lithium-ion battery.

With the Q50 3.0t models, the rear-drive Premium is $100 less than the comparable 2015 model, enabling Infiniti to advertise a $39,900 base price for a V-6 model before the destination charge or optional equipment. Prices are higher by $100 to $450 on other Q50 3.0t models.

Fuel-economy ratings for the new twin-turbo V-6 are 19/28 mpg city/highway with rear drive, 1 mpg lower for each compared to the 3.7-liter V-6. The estimates for all-wheel-drive models are unchanged at 19/27. Like the 3.7-liter V-6, the new turbocharged V-6 and four-cylinder engines require premium gas.
