If you can’t get comfortable in a Buick’s comfortable environs, you’re not trying very hard. But in case it takes time to find just the right seating position, if you want to see how Android Auto and Apple CarPlay work in all their glory, and/or you just want to see if the dang thing fits in your garage, Buick is offering 24-hour test drives that will allow you to take it home and—proverbially or literally—sleep on it.
-Called the “24 Hours of Happiness Test Drive,” the program requires only a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Oh yeah, and it’s open only to people 21 years old and up (which, uh, shouldn’t be an issue). The program ostensibly emphasizes wellness and happiness on the road, including downloadable content—podcasts, relaxation GIFs, a yoga session, even a Buick Atmosphere scent recipe—that can be accessed via the car’s 4G LTE connection or accessed at home, presumably to enjoy/perform/mock during one’s daylong date with the car. And yes, Buick recommends you not do yoga while the car is in motion.

Overnight test drives are not too unprecedented, especially if you’re a high-value customer at a particular dealership, but to do something like this on a brand-wide basis is pretty rare. Even without the involvement of chefs and wellness gurus.
