The problem: Audi's eight-speed transmission can upshift harshly through 1st and 2nd gears. The transmission also downshifts harshly while braking.
Corrective action: Dealers will update the transmission control module software to addresses this condition.
Warranty info: Repairs will be covered under the Audi new-car warranty.
