Buick floored us with its classy Avenir concept at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The sedan showcased the automaker's future styling direction and was undoubtedly the show's belle of the ball. The first influence of the Avenir's design on a production car will appear in the 2017 LaCrosse.
The upcoming LaCrosse's front styling is clearly an Avenir adaptation with a near-identical grille and headlight designs. It's a shape Buick says will adorn the front of every Buick by 2018.

Aside from showing off a teaser image, Buick also said the 2017 LaCrosse is lighter than the current model and will feature an all-new chassis for a more dynamic driving experience.
Will the rest of the LaCrosse take more inspiration from the sleek Avenir we drooled over at the auto show, or will it look like a bloated whale? We'll know more when the 2017 LaCrosse debuts in November at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.
