2014-16 Acura RLX Steering Wheel Issue

Vehicles affected by service bulletin:

  • 2014 Acura RLX
  • 2015 Acura RLX
  • 2016 Acura RLX (VINs JHK4C1 … GC000001 – JHK4C1 … GC000408)

The problem: A moaning or rubbing noise can be heard from the car's rear when driving straight and making side-to-side turning movements with the steering wheel. This is due to lack of lubrication in the precision all-wheel-steering rear toe control actuators.

Corrective action: Dealers will replace the rear toe control actuators and perform a four-wheel alignment.

Warranty info: This repair is being done under the new-vehicle warranty.
