Vehicles pose a serious safety risk to babies and children, be it accidents that claim hundreds of young lives a year or hot-car deaths that kill an average of 38 kids a year. A child younger than 13 was involved in a car crash every 33 seconds in 2013, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
