-Ford’s 2016 Mustang configurator is now live, which means we have final, official pricing for the Shelby GT350 and GT350R.
As it turns out, the figures are the same as were leaked earlier this summer. The GT350 starts at $49,995 with destination and the $1300 gas-guzzler tax. The track-focused GT350R is $63,495.
-The GT350 has two main options, which are mutually exclusive: the Technology Package and the Track Package. At $7500, the Technology Package includes navigation, Sync 3, leather, dual-zone automatic temperature control, dual power seats with four-way headrests and climate control, a seven-speaker audio system with satellite radio, Ford’s Integrated Driver Control System, MagneRide, heavy-duty front springs, turn-signal mirrors, and a garage-door opener. The Track Package also has MagneRide and the heavy-duty front springs as well as coolers for the engine oil, transmission, and differential; a strut-tower brace; the Integrated Driver Control System; and a rear decklid spoiler.
-
-The only other extras have to do with livery. If you want your GT350 in Triple Yellow, that’s $495; all the other colors—white, black, light or dark gray, blue, orange, and red—are no charge. A contrasting black roof sets you back $695, while racing stripes are $475 and come in white or blue (edged in black) or black (edged in white).

For the R, options are few. A $3000 Electronics Package adds back in many of the creature comforts that the standard R model strips out: dual-zone climate control, an audio system, navigation, Sync 3, a rearview camera, turn-signal mirrors, auxiliary gauges, a garage-door opener, floor mats, and the mobility kit (tire sealant and inflator).
-The GT350R comes in all the same colors as the GT350, save for orange. Again Triple Yellow is the only one that costs extra. The black roof is again $695, while racing stripes ($475) come in white, blue, or black, here with red edging. Thus, the most expensive GT350R you can configure—Triple Yellow with a black roof, racing stripes, and the Technology Package—would sticker for $66,860.
-Of course, that figure—like all those mentioned above—is before dealer markup.
