Bentley describes the app as “a luxury commissioning experience.” It relieves prospective Bentayga customers of the strain of deciding which exterior and interior colors they like, choosing a wood veneer, and selecting their favorite wheels. It does so by using emotion-recognition software that reads facial expressions to interpret emotional reactions as the customer watches an interactive film. At the end, the program suggests their ideal, custom-designed Bentley, thereby fulfilling the great promise of technology to improve people’s lives.
