Land Rover's been teasing us with rumors of an Evoque Convertible for years and now the production vehicle is finally real. The automaker took the wraps off the 2017 Range Rover Evoque Convertible today in L.A. It's a much more stylish take on an SUV convertible than Nissan's now-defunct, awkward Murano CrossCabriolet.

The droptop version maintains the hardtop's sleek silhouette and uses a Z-fold cloth top; other convertible specifics include a deeper front bumper with enlarged air intakes, frameless doors that create a clean profile when the roof is stowed, and an all-new tailgate and spoiler with an LED brake light.
