2013 Honda Accord, 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid Steering Issue

CARS.COM — Vehicles affected by service bulletin:

  • 2013 Honda Accord
  • 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid

The problem: These vehicles may have a faulty electronic power steering torque sensor in the steering gearbox. If it fails, it would require extra effort to steer the vehicle.

Corrective action: Dealers will replace the steering gear.

Warranty info: Repairs will be made under this special warranty extension from Honda. Coverage for the torque sensor/steering gearbox has been extended five years from the original vehicle in-service date, with no mileage limitation.
