Back in May, Porsche introduced—or reintroduced, more accurately—special “Black Edition” models of the 911 Carrera and the Boxster for 2015, which combine popular interior and exterior options with classic, black-on-black color schemes. Now, the Cayman joins Team Black with the announcement of the new Cayman Black Edition.
-As with its Black Edition brethren, the Cayman Black Edition is based on the non-S model, which means that a 275-hp 2.7-liter flat-6 resides just aft of the passengers. In addition to the Cayman’s standard features, the Black Edition features 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels, bixenon dynamic headlamps, front and rear park assist, and a choice of either black or metallic black paint. Interior amenities include an upgraded audio system, navigation, dual-zone climate control, heated seats, a sport steering wheel, Black Edition logos on the doorsills, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and Porsche crests embossed in the headrests.

Want one? You have until January of 2016 to gather up the $60,195 it’s gonna cost to drive one of these black beauties off the showroom floor. With the base Cayman starting at $53,595, the Black Edition represents something of a bargain considering all the extras that are part of the deal.
