2015 Toyota Tacoma Compression Issue

The problem: Vehicles may exhibit a lit Check Engine light on the dash.

Corrective action: Dealers will scan affected vehicles for trouble codes and begin a diagnostic tree to determine if loss of engine compression is present. If confirmed, dealers will replace the cylinder heads, head gaskets, and intake or exhaust valves, as necessary.

Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the Toyota Powertrain Warranty, which is in effect for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
