CARS.COM — New York may be the city that never sleeps, but it's time to put our on-the-scene coverage of the 2016 New York International Auto Show to bed. The second day of what is billed as the most-attended auto show of the season was once again as jammed as Midtown at rush hour.
More 2016 New York Auto Show Coverage
Today our team brought you coverage of eight additional debuts on top of further coverage, photos, videos and impressions of the 20 we covered Wednesday. Like Day One, Day Two was another big one for performance vehicles. Mercedes-Benz introduced four luxury cars, including a trio of new offerings from its AMG performance house — the 2017 Mercedes-AMG CLC43, C63 Cabriolet and E43 — as well as the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class sedan.
Porsche, meanwhile, unveiled a pair of track-ready models in the 2017 718 Boxster and 911 R. In stark contrast to those racy debuts were a couple of comparably modest daily drivers: the 2017 Toyota Corolla sedan and the 2017 G4, Mitsubishi's sedan variant of the Mirage.
We'll be bringing you more follow-up coverage from the show in the coming days, but for now ... we're out like the Naked Cowboy's tighty-whities.
